Fir in the Rough… our most popular wall and ceiling product! And its clear why, it has depth, character, and such a more affordable alternative to barn Oak options. It’s manufactured from reclaimed Douglas Fir lumber and the “Dirty” face has been left intact. Douglas Fir naturally has a pinky base color and caramelizes as it ages outside of the weather element. It silvers and grays as it’s exposed weather, making this product a mix of browns, caramels, greys, silvers, and more. *Usually, the mixes are it is BROWN tone heavy. The Fir in the Rough shiplap, along with all other reclaimed wood products will vary in color and look from board to board, and no two pieces are truly alike.
Some customers choose to install and leave it as is, while others choose to stain it.
